Roger Bernard Hunziker
Roger was born Nov 19, 1914 in Fribourg, Switzerland and immigrated with his parents, August and Lina and two siblings, Hannah and August in the spring of 1917. They arrived at Ellis Island (Statue of Liberty), New York on the SS Chicago from the port of Bordeaux, France. They made their way to their sponsor's location of Montreal, Quebec. From there they traveled east with a short stop in Lac de Sil, Quebec, where Flora was born.
He married Evelyn Elizabeth Thompson on 29 Oct 1940, at Fredericton, NB, Canada
Evelyn was born in Minto, New Brunswick on November 20th, 1923
They had two children:

Roger, the entrepreneur of the sons owned and operated a successful grocery store in Newcastle Bridge, New Brunswick for most of his life.
